From The Balcony

I see the view. On the other side of the railing is where I see.

I see the ever emerging skyscrapers across the view. Some with 20 floors, some 20+ and going, some 40+ and going. This reminds me of where one has to draw a line of content.  But then again there is the yearning population every day which loves to grow up and in turn grow the nation. Even so, the monochrome does not fool me in defining altitudes and depths.

I see the beautiful little grass lawns shaped by the walking tracks. These tracks are afoot with promenading elders with wisdom in their eyes and dynamic youngsters with thirst for fitness in their hearts. The kids mostly exhibit innocence in the play area among the swings and see-saws.

On this side of the railing is me savoring my evening cup of Chai and enjoying the wonderful world out there, with the grays of the buildings and the greens of the scattered trees. The aroma of the tea, the feel of the breeze against my skin and the visual for my eyes makes these thoughts worth the while. It’s good to notice these among the hustles of our daily lives. Happy savoring!!
